Shirley T. (Buczak) Donahue passed away at Falmouth Hospital on Sunday, October 17, 2010. She was 67 years of age. Shirley was born in Taunton, MA on June 6, 1943 to the late Stanley & Stephania (Buczek) Buczak. She was raised in Taunton and graduated from Taunton High School. Mrs. Donahue lived in Melrose for over 30 years and the past 5 years in Falmouth. Shirley was a homemaker and had her own cleaning business for several years. She was a member and past president of the Melrose Garden Club and was very active at St. Mary's Grammar School while her 3 boys were attending. Shirley loved yard sales, antiques, crafts, gardening and summering in Falmouth for the past 40 years. She was the beloved wife of Paul W. Donahue. Devoted mother of Steven & his wife Erika of CO, Jeffrey & his wife Bonnie and Mark Donahue & his wife Christine all of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Kari, Ryan, Jay, Shelley, Quinn & Lucas. Loving sister of Audrey Murphy of MI, Stanley Buczak of Tewksbury and the late Joyce Buczak. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, October 22nd at 9AM. A Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Shirley will be held at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00-8:00PM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
