Shirley G. (Monaghan) Neumyer passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. She was 83 years old. Born in Canada, she was raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School. Shirley worked for the City of Melrose for over 25 years in Melrose City Hall, as an assistant to the City Auditor. She enjoyed playing bridge, poker games on Friday nights and was very active in the Melrose Senior Center. She was the loving mother of Karen L. Pezzarossi & her husband Thomas of Melrose, Jaclyn J. Ciulla & her husband Robert, also of Melrose & the late Robert E. Neumyer & his wife Mary Lou of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of 12 & great grandmother of 6. Caring sister of Joan Savarino & her husband Louis of Concord & the late Elizabeth Prince. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral service in the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Mon., Dec. 3rd at 10AM. Family & friends invited. Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Arrangements by The Gately Funeral Home of Melrose.
