Shirley (Mugica) Tamasi, of Melrose, formerly of Malden, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital, on October 10, 2007. She was 75 years of age. She was born and raised in Malden, attended Malden Schools and lived most of her life in Malden. Shirley worked for many years as a legal secretary for a law firm in Boston. Wife of the late Alfred Tomasi & the late Rufino Mugica. Mother of Rufino G. 'Ruffy' Mugica & his wife Linda Collins of Las Vegas. Sister of the late Elsie Mortensen. Funeral services are private.
