Stanley G. Smiley, of Melrose, passed away on July 26, 2018 at the age of 75. Stanley was born in Lynn on December 31, 1942 to Stanley W. & Elizabeth (Sargent) Smiley. He was raised in Marblehead and graduated from Marblehead High School. Stanley worked as a foreman for General Electric. He also served his country honorably in the United States Army as a Military Policeman. He was the beloved husband of Jean Robinson of Melrose. Cousin of William Clifton of CA. A Funeral Service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:30 AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend.
