Stephen M. Perrotti passed away suddenly at his home in Melrose, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. He was only 52 years of age. Mr. Perrotti was born in Stoneham, raised in Melrose and graduated from the Northeast Regional Vocational Technical High School in Wakefield. Stephen worked as a marine welder from the age 17 to his early 30's for Rev-Lyn Marine Construction Company in East Boston. Mr. Perrotti furthered his career by attaining numerous constructions licenses; a Class A, hoisting license, marine demolition and numerous other licenses. He worked for Great East Marine, RDA and Testa for many years. Stephen lived in Wakefield and Saugus and the past few years in Melrose. He loved snowmobiling with his children in New Hampshire, the ocean, airplanes and taking trips to Martha's Vineyard. He was the beloved son of Theodore F. & Barbara A. (Harkins) Perrotti. Loving father of Stephen Jr., Joseph and Matthew Perrotti all of North Andover & Natashia Perrotti of Lynn. Devoted brother of Ted Jr. of Melrose, Linda & Matthew Corso of Haverhill, Richard & Stacey of PA, David & Mary Kate and Donald & Kimberly all of Melrose. Uncle of Jennifer, Bryan, Nicholas, Andrea,Tori & Ava. Former husband of Lori DiStasio and former companion of Paula Hios. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday April 8th at 9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation Church, 425 Upham St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00-5:00PM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
