Stephen W. Wade passed away on October 2nd, 2026, in Melrose, MA at the age of 76. 

Stephen was born in Boston on April 7, 1950, to the late Alan and Helen (Weymouth) Wade. He grew up in Lexington, MA, and graduated from Lexington High School and from the University of Massachusetts - Boston. 

Stephen lived in Melrose for many years. Stephen was an accomplished photographer, and loved reading, sailing and camping. He had worked in computer programming, sales, distribution, and transportation.

Stephen is survived by his sister Alison Wade of Raynham, MA; his brother and sister-in-law Eric and Dale Wade of Clifton Park, NY; niece Jennifer Wade and husband Alex Howe of Alexandria, VA; nephews Brian and Jason Wade of Clifton Park, NY; and many cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
