Susan M. Harmon, of Melrose, died unexpectedly on August 25, 2008 at the age of 44. Susan was born in Everett, raised in Melrose and a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1982. She attended Fischer College and enjoyed interior painting & design. Susan loved music, movies, riding motorcycles and dancing. She also enjoyed traveling to Arizona, Indian Head Resort in NH and raising German Shepherds. Susan was the loving mother of Kristen Harmon of Melrose. Cherished daughter of George E. Jr., & Elizabeth A. (Belmont) Harmon of Melrose. Grandmother of Haley Harmon. Caring sister of Linda M. Murphy & her late husband Deano of Lynnfield and the late Philip E. Harmon. Devoted aunt of Tyler Murphy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday August 30th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday Sept. 3rd at 11AM at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Relatives & friends invited.
