Susan M. Ledoux passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on June 2, 2008. She was 44 years of age. Susan was born in Germany, raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1981. Miss Ledoux attended Salem State College and has been a lifelong resident of Melrose. Susan worked as a commercial real estate broker for over 15 years for the Alden Business Brokers of Woburn. She also worked weekends as a bartender at the Gloucester House and the Gull Restaurant in Gloucester for many years. Miss Ledoux loved spending time with her family, her nieces & nephews and always cared about everyone else first. She loved Elton John, skiing, going to the beach and was an excellent cook. Beloved daughter of Mary T. (Sullivan) Ledoux of Melrose & the late Raymond G. Ledoux. Loving sister of Mark R. Ledoux & his wife Dorothy of Utah, Julie M. O'Hara & her husband James of Pembroke, Daniel J. Ledoux of Melrose, Catherine M. McCarthy of Malden and Maura K. Goodhue & her husband Frank of Melrose. Cherished aunt of Caitlin & Craig O'Hara, Chelsea, Chase & Alex Ledoux, Daniel & John Goodhue, Mark & Matthew McCarthy. Loving niece of Claire Edmund, Kathleen Christopher, Fran Sullivan & Helen Sullivan. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, June 6th at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10:30AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Thurs, 4-8PM. Interment will be private.
