Susan Rubin, Born in Everett and was raised in Melrose. a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on April 1, 1949, to the late Thomas and Frances Crowley, Susan's life was marked by her passion for travel and golf, and the deep bonds she formed with her family and friends. Susan was a member of St. Mary's church in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School.

Susan grew up in a close-knit family and is survived by her son Alan Rubin of Salem MA, her granddaughters Dahlia and Ariahna of Ipswich MA, her loving sister, Janet Curry of Palm Springs, CA, MA. She was a beloved cousin to Edna Louis of Chula Vista, CA, and a treasured aunt to her nephews, John Curry of Scottsdale, AZ, and Scott Curry of Encinitas, CA.

Susan Golfed at Bear Hill Gold Club in Stoneham and Wenham Country Club, Travelled the Caribbean a few times as well as Greece and all around New England. She had a very successful Career Account Manager in the insurance industry.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster Street, Melrose. A Funeral service celebrating Susan's life will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster Street, Melrose.
