Taryn Taibbi Belmonte, age 44, passed away early in the morning on Saturday,
November 7, 2020. She was born on September 16, 1976 to Anthony Belmonte and
Cindy Taibbi. Born in Massachusetts, Taryn moved to Pittsburgh, PA as a teenager,
where she graduated from Schenley High School and Carlow University. As a young
adult she spent time in Europe and Africa, with her final residency in Pheonix,
Arizona.
Taryn had the divine ability to make friends wherever she traveled, reaching people in
a deep and positive way - dedicating herself to maintaining those relationships near
and far. She loved people, the earth, animals, and devoted herself to the conservation
and advocation of endangered species and the planet. She was a "freedom fighter
who believed in justice and change".
Taryn lived life to the fullest, through simple pleasures. She made life an adventure
and took us all with her. She was kind, compassionate, loving, gregarious, dedicated
to humanity and the preservation of life. She loved spending time with her family and
friends, no matter the activity, the time, or the place.
Taryn is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Rocco and Jean Taibbi. She is
survived by her young son, Ren Belmonte, her partner Ross Perilman; Her parents
Anthony and Barbara Belmonte, and Cindy Taibbi; Her siblings - Haley Peck, Tracey
Erskine, Anthony Belmonte, Adam Belmonte, Maisie Taibbi, and Eleanor Taibbi; Her
grandparents Anthony and Pauline Belmonte, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces,
nephews and so many dear friends.
Taryn touched the lives of so many wonderful and kind people, most of which will not
be able to pay their respects in a traditional way. Flowers are a visual expression of
love, sympathy, and respect. They are a means of lending support and sharing the
burden of grief. We know there are so many individuals who want to show their love
and support during a time of such sorrow and grief. Should you be thinking of a way
to do so, the family has requested that people donate to a cause near and dear to
Taryn's heart. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Taryn, please donate to either of Taryn's
two favorite foundations -
Save the Whales, https://savethewhales.org

"Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be. A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity. We all have different journey's, different paths along the way. We all
were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a
place, far greater than we know. For some the journey is quicker, for some the
journey is slow. And when the journey finally ends, we'll claim the great reward, of
everlasting peace, together with the lord."
Funeral service will be private. Arrangements by the Gately Funeral Home, Melrose.
