Terri Ann (Wortman) O'Brien, of Melrose, died at home on June 18, 2013 at the age of 51. Terri was born & raised in Melrose and a graduate of Greater Boston Academy. She went on to earn her nursing degree from Regis College and her B.S.N from the University of Massachusetts. Terri was a lifelong Melrose resident and member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. She was an avid runner and her son Brendan was the love of her life. She was the beloved wife of James B. O'Brien for 23 years. Loving mother of Brendan F. O'Brien of Melrose. Cherished daughter of William Wortman of Sandwich & Anne (MacMillian) Wortman of Stoneham. Caring niece of Brenda Roy of Melrose. Also survived by members of "Terri's Team" and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, June 21st at 9AM. A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives& friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
