Theresa E. (Healey) Haley passed away on March 31, 2013 at the age of 74. Theresa was born to George and Ruth Healey on October 10, 1938 in Lynn, Massachusetts. She was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. Theresa went on to receive a degree in teaching from Salem State University. She was a dedicated teacher who taught young minds in Medford, worked as a substitute teacher at Melrose High School and also spent many years working at the Somerville Community Adult Learning Center. She spent over thirty years of her life living in Melrose and the past 8 years in Georgia. Theresa was the daughter of the late George & Ruth Healey. Loving mother of Robert Haley of Woburn, Gary Haley and his wife Susan of Medina, OH, Daniel Haley and his wife Diane of Holbrook, Stephen Haley and his wife Marie of Cumming, GA, Karen Haley of Holbrook, and Timothy Haley and his wife Alison of Malden. Devoted grandmother of Andrew, Alex, Megan, Kristen, Sarah, Ian, Samantha, Patrick, Braidon and Austin. Cherished sister of Charles Healey of Lynn, and the late Ruth Savy, William Healey, Lois Cirurso, Jean Facciolo, Marilyn Goodwin, Lorraine Healey, and Donna Szczawinski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, April 5th, at 10:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 9 Herbert St, Melrose, MA at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
