Thomas W. Dwyer passed away at his home in Florida on August 18, 2006, he was 57. Thomas was born in Winthrop, raised in Revere, graduated from Revere High School and entered the US Navy after high school. Mr. Dwyer was a US Navy Vietnam War Veteran serving for 4 years. After his discharge from the US Navy he attended Bentley College and worked as a real estate broker in the Melrose area for several years. He lived in Melrose for 10 years, Stoneham for a few years and the past 27 years in Florida. While in Florida he worked first as a property manager and then as a mortgage broker for several different companies for over 25 years. Thomas loved the beach, his cat Ali, the Red Sox & Celtics, he was a Patriots fan and enjoyed bicycling & playing basketball. He was the son of William J. & Marion F. (Lord) Dwyer of Melrose. Brother of Nancy DAmico, Janet Dembro & Arthur all of Wakefield, David Dwyer & Maria of Lynn and Lauren McCallman & George of FL. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tues. August 22nd at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited.
