Thomas J. LeMoure, age 86, died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Friday Dec. 13th after a short illness. Thomas was born and raised in East Boston, graduated from East Boston High School and Bentley School of Accounting. He lived in Everett & Malden most of his life and the past 6 years in Melrose. Thomas was Secretary Treasurer of Sea Food Workers Union AFL/CIO Longshoremen's Local for over 25 years and also was employed by the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company for over 22 years at Boston Fish Pier. He was a social member and bartender at the VFW Lt. Norman Prince Post #1506 in Melrose for 20 years. Thomas was the husband of the late Claire (Blanchard) LeMoure. Father of Linda F. LeMoure of Melrose and Edward R. LeMoure of Miami Beach FL & Nashua NH. Brother of Frank X. LeMoure of Revere, Richard L. LeMoure of Chelsea and the late Joseph A. LeMoure, Hanora D. 'Tootie' Donegan, Mary J. McGinnis, Rita Napier, Edward R. LeMoure and Barbara T. LeMoure. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday Dec. 16th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00-8:30PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
