Thomas J. Procito, of Melrose, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on April 28, 2022 at the age of 82. Thomas Procito was born and raised in Cambridge, MA. He went to school at Sacred Heart High School in East Cambridge then went onto Northeast Technical Institute . Thomas started his own appliance repair business Professional Appliance Service and that lasted for over 20 years. He loved learning about health and supplements but his first love was body building which he did for 40 years . Thomas will be forever missed by his loving family. His wife Josephine, his daughter Diane and his two sons Michael and Tom; his three grandchildren Isabella, Jacob & Julia, and his brother Joseph and sister Anita and countless others. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 4:00PM-7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
