Thomas W. Junior Roberts Jr., of Lauderdale by the Sea, Fl, formerly of Melrose, died in Florida on Oct. 25, 2007 at the age of 73. Junior was a graduate of St. Marys Grammar School and attended Malden Catholic High School before serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He lived in Melrose for over 35 years before moving to Florida. Junior worked as manager for Lechmere in Cambridge for several years, he owned & operated a restaurant in Hollywood, Fl, and the manager for a package store & lounge in Lauderdale by the Sea. Mr. Roberts loved & owned thoroughbred horses and an avid Red Sox & Patriots fan. Junior was the son of the late Thomas W. Sr. & Margaret J. (Carroll) Roberts. Beloved husband of Joan (Moskala) Roberts of Lauderdale by the Sea, Fl. Loving father of Denise Belotti, Claire Beliveau, both of NH and Thomas W. Roberts III of FL. Cherished brother of Karen Roberts & Mary Kelley, both of Melrose, Margaret Gover of Malden & the late Charles F., Claire M. and Gerald E. Roberts. Caring grandfather of Michael Sugalski, Michelle Roberts, Toni Roberts, all of NH and Thomas W. Tavis Roberts IV, of Fl. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in his memory on Sunday Dec. 23rd at St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 11:30AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visitation: None None
