Obituary

Timothy John Tyson passed away very suddenly at his home on Sunday February 1, 2015 at the age of 55. Tim was born in California, raised in Marietta, GA, graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1977 and from Southern Poly Tech University in GA. Tim lived in Georgia most of his life before moving to Hampstead, NH 13 years ago. He had his PE in Electrical Engineering and worked as a professional engineer for Newcomb & Boyd in GA for 15 years and the past 13 years for Richard D. Kimball Engineering in Andover. Tim was a loving and dedicated family man who just loved to be around his family and his large extended family. Tim was a "big time bowler", enjoyed playing basketball, golf and skiing. Tim always looked forward to spending Christmas in Atlanta Georgia, going to the beach, boating in Gloucester and taking his family to Disney World. Tim was the beloved husband of 24 years to Maureen (Ardagna) Tyson. Cherished father of Sean Timothy Tyson, Matthew Robert Tyson & Mary Beth Tyson all of NH. Devoted son of Lorraine "Sadie" (Kinder) Tyson of GA & his late father Robert. Loving son-in-law of Mary Ardagna & her late husband Anthony of GA. Cherished brother of Diane Grimsley & her late husband Artie of GA. Cherished brother-in-law of Mark & Phoebe Ardagna, Joseph & Kiki Ardagna, David & Tracy Ardagna, Susan Ardagna, all of GA and Ann Marie & Tony Hester of NC. Loving uncle of Lauren, Cory, Ryan, Michael, the late Nicholas, Alex, Steven, Jenna, Eva & Lea. Also survived by many other beloved relatives & friends. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 2:00-6:00PM. Funeral procession from the Gately Funeral Home on Monday February 9th at 9:30AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 10:30AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tim's name to the Kimi Nichols Center, 17 East Rd., Plaistow, NH, 03865 or @ www.kiminicholscenter.org.
