Una F. (McGinnis) Dawson passed away at the Sawtelle Hospice House, in Reading, on December 3, 2006, she was 63. Una was born in Boston, raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1960. Mrs. Dawson has worked as a secretary at Melrose High School for the past 10 years. Una was a lifelong resident of Melrose and a member the Theta group in Melrose. She is the wife of Fred E. Dawson. Mother of Mark Scott Dawson & his wife Wendy of Derry, NH. Grandmother of Kendra, Sarah & Scottie. Sister of Lawrence McGinnis of Boston. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tuesday, December 5th from 4-8PM.
