Vincenzo Filippo "Vinny" Varacalli of East Boston went home to GOD on Friday, September 12, 2008 at the Children's Hospital of Boston. He was only 2 weeks old. Although he was only here a short time, he will be in our hearts forever and we are thankful for the gift of Vinny. He was the beloved son of Vincenzo & Shawna (Minghella) Varacalli. Cherished grandson of Laura & her husband John Jankowski of Melrose, Glenn Minghella of Melrose, Filippo & his wife Antonietta Varacalli of East Boston. Much loved great grandson of Cheryl & Brian Harrington of Manchester, NH, James & Lisa Alden of Stoneham, Rudolph Minghella, also of Stoneham & Marie Cope of Florida. Special nephew of Joseph & Lori Varacalli of Somerset, MA. Also survived by many aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tues. Sept. 16th at 8:30AM.
