Virginia I. Federico, of Melrose, formerly of the North End, died at the Changing Seasons Healthcare in Everett on July 14th at the age of 78. Virginia was born & raised in Rumford, ME, lived in the North End of Boston for over 40 years and several years in Melrose. She was the loving daughter of the late Ernest & Carolina (Gentile) Federico. Caring sister of Gloria C. DeStefano & her husband Pat, Daniel A. Federico, James J. Federico, all of Melrose and the late Angelo Federico. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday July 18th at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10:30AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 5-7PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
