Virginia H. (Grover) Morgan, of Melrose, died at her home on Sept. 10, 2014 at the age of 85. Virgina was born & raised in Everett and attended Everett Schools. She was a homemaker and resided in Everett until 1949, Melrose for 14 years, W. Peabody for 16 years, returned to Everett for 29 years and Melrose for the past 6 years. Virginia loved crossword puzzles, baking, Sunday dinners, thanksgiving and making pies for all of her neighbors. She enjoyed the ocean and taking trips to Aruba, St. Thomas and Hawaii. Virginia was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late William E. Morgan. Loving mother of Kristine Morley & her husband Gil of FL, Patricia Bresnahan & her husband Ronald of Weymouth and the late Karen Morgan. Cherished grandmother of Kathy Antreasian and Marisa Bresnahan. Great grandmother of Sarah. Devoted sister of the late Eleanor, Pearl, Connie, Norma and Shirley. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Sunday, Sept. 28th at 12:00PM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service from10-12:00PM. Burial will be private.
