Virginia Marie Phelan, of Absecon, NJ, formerly of Melrose, died at the Brigham & Womens Hospital on Jan. 22, 2007 at the age of 55. Virginia was born & raised in Melrose before moving to PA. She was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill, PA. Virginia lived in PA for 22 years, New Jersey for 10 years, Melrose for 7 years and the last 10 years in NJ, where she worked in the Gaming Industry in Atlantic City. Virginia was the loving mother of Christina Psota of NJ and John Psota of PA. Devoted grandmother of David Pesce Jr. of NJ. Caring sister of John W. Phelan of PA. Cherished niece of Robert W. Murphy of Melrose. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday Jan. 31st at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM.
