Virginia P. (Jackman) Sentner passed away at VNA of Middlesex-East Hospice in Reading on Nov. 1st, she was 70. Virginia was born in Revere, raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School. Mrs. Sentner worked as a manager in the wire transfer division at Baybank in the Burlington office for over 20 years. She was a resident of Wakefield for the past 34 years, enjoyed crocheting and being a grandmother.Virginia was the wife of the late Lester G. Sentner. Mother of Carol A. OConnor of Derry NH and the late Kevin F. Broderick & Julia A. Broderick. Mother-in-law of William M. OConnor & Martin Sander. Sister of Frank Jackman of Melrose and the late John Jackman, Richard Jackman, Madeline Goodrich, Doris Mahoney & Carol Schueler. Grandmother of Regan, Kelly, Kelsey and Sean. Aunt of Marilyn Colombo & Lorraine Goodrich as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Friday Nov. 5th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. Wakefield, at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thurs. 4-8PM.
