Wilbur E. Hudlin, 88, died saturday at Mass General Hospital, Boston, after a brief illness. Born in Boston, he lived in Revere and Melrose most of his life. He was a welder at Bethleham Steel Co. Boston for 22 years and retired in 1957. Wilbur was a member of the Baptist Church and the Revere Elks. He was the father of Robert E. Hudlin & his wife Grace of Melrose, Suzanne Ingalls & her husband Lee of Melrose, Nancy Collins & her late husband Richard of RI, Marcia Wood & her husband James of Reading and Betsy Mattuchio & her husband Phillip of Everett. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St, Melrose, on Thurs Aug 30 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends ivited. Visiting hours Wed 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
