William W. "Bill" Bell passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on June 22, 2022. He was only 66 years of age. He was born in California on May 15, 1956 to Charles & Dorothy (Harmon) Bell. He was raised in Melrose, graduated from the Northeast Regional Technical High School in Wakefield in 1976 and established the Bell Systems Company in Melrose. He was a lifelong Melrose resident and ran his plumbing business in Melrose for many years. Bill was an outdoorsman who loved to go fishing, ice fishing, hunting and camping and loved spending summers on Long Lake in Maine with family and friends. Bill was the husband of Susan E. (Kennedy) Bell. Father of Robert, William, Brian and Carly. Brother of Doug Bell and the late Richard. Bell. He was also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be private.
