William R. Faiella, Jr., 41, of Saugus formerly of Melrose died on Wednesday, August 6 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Melrose on March 2, 1973, he was the son of William R. and Linda L. (Alkins) Faiella of Melrose.
Will was a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1992, Bridgton Academy, Class of 1993 and University of Massachusetts- Boston, Class of 1997. He was an accountant for Green, Rubin, Miller & Pacino in Brighton. Will had been a Saugus resident for the past 15 years. He was a coach for the Saugus Pop Warner. Will was an avid Boston sports fan and the University of Georgia Bulldogs fan.
In addition to his parents, Will is survived by his wife Kathleen S. (Mara) Faiella, his two sons Nolan and Braden, his daughter Mara and his two sisters; Stefanie Costa and her husband Derek and Laurene Overlan all of Melrose.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Sunday from 2-6pm.
