William P. Lynch, 58, died at Mass General Hospital Boston after a lengthy illness. Born in Melrose, he was a resident of Wakefield for many years and moved to Melrose 28 years ago. Bill graduated from Malden Catholic High School and attended Harvard University. He was the Vice President of a contracting company before illness forced his early retirement. Bill was the husband of A. Darlene ( Pierson ) Lynch. Father of Laurie A. Houle & her husband Kevin of Hudson NH and Kristen M. Fennelly & her husband Kevin of Woburn. Grandfather of Ryan & Jillian Houle and Kevin & Kyle Fennelly. Brother of Patricia Conlon of Beverly, Michelle Crawford of Limerick, ME and the late Kathleen Lynch. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St Melrose on Fri July 18 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited Visiting hours Thurs 4 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery Medford.
