William E. Earl Muise of Everett, formerly of Malden, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Chelsea Soldiers Home. He was 82 years old. Born in Wakefield on June 12, 1924 to William H. & Frances (Robicheau) Muise, Earl attended Wakefield Schools and later joined the U.S. Navy during WWII. He served with the SeaBees and was proud to be a member of the Navy. Mr. Muise worked as an Assistant Manager with The A & P Grocery Store of Arlington from 1946-1960. He then worked for 31 years with the J.H. Winn Company of Winchester as a pressman. His family resided in the Maplewood section of Malden before moving to Everett for a couple of years before he entered the Soldiers Home. Earl enjoyed riding his bike and moped, feeding all the neighborhood cats & watching baseball. He was a family man, easy going and liked talking to people. He was an usher at St. Josephs Church of Malden for many years, attending every Mass on Sundays. William was the devoted husband of 47 years to Frances C. (Fucci) Muise. Loving father of Rita Proffitt & her husband Fred of Virginia, Francine Muise-Gilbert & her husband Michael of Everett & William E. Muise & his wife Tracy of Malden. Cherished grandfather of Kelly & Julie Proffitt & Rocco & Nicholas Gilbert. Caring brother of Margaret Brady, Lena Brooks, Jennie Brault, John Muise & the late Irene Clark. Funeral service in the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wed. March 14 at 10AM. Family & friends invited. Visiting hours Tues. from 4-8PM. Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, MA.
