William E. Winn passed away at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford on Monday, June 21, 2010. He was 74 years of age. William was born in the West End of Boston, brought up in the West End and Cambridge and graduated from Ringe Technical High School in Cambridge. Mr. Winn was a US Air Force Korean War Veteran. He worked as an electrical designer for Lockheed Martin Corporation in Lexington for over 30 years. Bill loved to spend time at his camp in Fayette, Maine, enjoyed gardening, lawn work and was an avid sports fan. He was the devoted husband of 44 years to the late Edna M. (Sullivan) Winn. Loving father of Kathleen M. Coyne & her husband James of Melrose & Laurie J. Walsh & her husband John of Medford. Cherished grandfather of Allyson M. Walsh & Collin W. Coyne. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Fri. June 25th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Family & friends are invited to attend.
