Willie L. "Will" McCrorey passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 24, 2015. He was only 41 years of age. Willie was born in Hartford, CT on November 15, 1973, was raised in Hartford, graduated from St. Justin School, Northwest Catholic High School and then from the University of Conneticut. He lived in New Hampshire for several years, Lawrence , MA for a few years and the past 5 years in Melrose. Willie was a talented IT Computer Engineer, he worked for Tweeter in NH & Peabody, MA, for Media One, GTE as well as other companies in the Boston area. Mr. McCrorey enjoyed music, playing golf at MT. Hood, in Atkinson NH, and other surrounding courses. Will loved German cars, loved to cook and always found great local restaurants no matter what town he visited. Mr. McCrorey was an awesome Dad who was completely devoted to his family, loved taking family drives to Portsmouth, NH, Kittery, Maine, Mystic, CT and spending time on Arlington Pond in Salem, NH. Will was the beloved husband of 10 to years to his wife Meghan S. (Mitchell) McCrorey. Dedicated and loving father of Madison McCrorey of NH, Mitchell S. & Jacqueline C. McCrorey of Melrose. Cherished son of Willie H. & Mary (Scott) McCrorey of Hartford, CT. Caring brother of Lakiesha McCrorey of TX and Kevin McCrorey of CT. Loving son-in-law of James & Janice (Partridge) Mitchell of Melrose. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 w. Foster St. Melrose on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 4:00-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held at the 1st Baptist Church, corner of Main Street & Upham Street in downtown Melrose on Wednesday, September 30th at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose will be private.
