Obituary

Winifred Gloria Winnie (Molloy) Churchill passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on Sunday October 17th, she was 77. Winifred was born and raised in Everett and has been a resident of Melrose since 1956. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Harold OYoung Post #2394 Ladies Auxillary in Melrose for over 40 years. Winnie was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing at the Stoneham Boys & Girls Club, the Prince Hall in Melrose and at the Irish American Club in Malden. She was the devoted wife of the late Chester P. Churchill. Loving mother of Winnie Doherty and Cathleen Churchill, both of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey Doherty of Melrose. Caring sister of Virginia Cote of Amesbury, Robert Molloy of Pembroke, Patricia E. Albanese of Wilmington, Denise M. Sanborn of Medway OH and the late Marie Rader, Thomas Molloy and Richard Molloy. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews as well as her extended family. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday Oct. 21st. at 9AM. Funeral mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday 4-9PM. Burial in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield
