Winifred E. Enslin, of Reading , formerly of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Dec. 28, 2009 at 90 years of age. Winifred was born & raised in Melrose and a graduate of St. Mary's High School. She worked as a Secretary for Liberty Mutual Medical Clinic in Boston for many years. Winifred was a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose for many years and resided in Melrose for most of her life. She was the loving daughter of the late Joseph & Gertrude Enslin. Cherished cousin of Carol Oliver of CA. Also survived by many friends and caregivers at Peter Sanborn Place in Reading. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday Dec. 31st at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to the mass from 8:00-8:45AM at the funeral home. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
