Winifred A. (McCarthy) MacIntosh died after a long illness at Oosterman's Rest Home in Wakefield at the age of 90. She was born and raised in Everett, graduated from Everett High School and has been living in Melrose since 1944. Winifred was a homemaker and had also worked for her husband Wilbur as a secretary for several years at W.W. MacIntosh Real Estate in Melrose. She was a member of the Melrose Womens Club and the Catholic Women's Club at Most Blessed Scarament Church and Incarnation Church in Melrose. Winifred was the wife of the late Wilbur W. MacIntosh. Mother of Winifred M. Cantin of Melrose and John H. MacIntosh of Canada. Grandmother of Laura Cantin-Hall of Essex, Betty Cantin-Mahris of Hawaii, Sandy Cantin of CA and Jsaon Cantin of Melrose.
