Yvonne Alice (Burbulis) Brown passed away at Life Care Center in Stoneham on April 7th, she was 95. Mrs. Brown was born in Lithuania, raised in Boston and graduated from South Boston High School. She lived in Dorchester and most of her life in Melrose. Alice was a homemaker, a member of St. Mary's Church & the Ladies Sodality at church, a member of the Milano Senior Center and did volunteer work at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was the wife of the late Philip E. Brown. Mother of Clyde Muirhead of Lynn and John Salatka of France. Grandmother of Christopher Muirhead of Salem, Dawn Muirhead, Dianna Johnson both of NC and Michael Salatka of France. Great grandmother of Dylan & Jonathan Moody. Funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tues. April 13th at 11AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8PM.
