Yvonne (Khattar) Talhouk passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on January 13, 2019, she was 94 years of age. Yvonne was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Said A. Talhouk. Loving mother of Amine Talhouk & his wife Mary Hynes-Talhouk of FL, the late Amale Daher & her husband Sleiman of Andover and Assaad Talhouk & his wife Amy of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Amy Hvizdak & her spouse Tanya, Grace Milner & her spouse William, Monique Stewart & her spouse Craig, Charlotte de Garcia & her spouse Alberto, Adam Talhouk & Abigail Talhouk. Proud great grandmother of Kellan, Tatum & Harper, Olivia, Eva & Jacob, Brooklyn, Ana Isabel & Mateo. Loving sister of Samira Mecherkany. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 4:00-7:00PM. Funeral procession from the Gately Funeral Home on Thursday morning at 9:00AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, 9 Herbert St. Melrose at 10:00AM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend.
